Join the Campaign!
(e-mail us now)

If you are a member of an organisation, whether a development agency, a church group, a trade union or a student group, your group can get involved by joining the Stop AIDS Campaign.

How to become a member

The 'Stop AIDS Campaign' is the campaigning arm of the
> UK Consortium on AIDS & International Development, a network of more than 80 UK-based organisations working together on issues of HIV and AIDS issues. See our > Members list. Membership of the Consortium automatically includes membership of the ‘Stop AIDS Campaign’.

Membership of the Consortium on AIDS/Stop AIDS campaign is open to all civil society organisations that are based in the UK and are concerned about issues of HIV and AIDS and development.

Members receive all Consortium papers and publications, including our monthly ‘Bulletin’ and ‘Weekly News & Press Releases’, have full voting rights and can stand for membership of the Executive Committee. You can concentrate your efforts on the work of the Stop AIDS Campaign or more broadly join in developing any aspect of our work.

Membership is organisational rather than individual, so several individuals from one member organisation can come to our meetings. We can also send out more than one set of papers to large organisations with several interested departments.

If you are eligible and want to be a member, contact us in writing or e-mail to say that you would like to join and are able to give a yearly membership contribution. You must also let us know the level of contribution which is right for your organisation (see the scale below). Please also send us information on your own work and why the work of the Consortium on AIDS/'Stop AIDS Campaign' is of interest to you.

Organisations which are not civil society organisations but would like to be fully in touch with all that the Consortium and the Campaign are doing and attend meetings, working groups, seminars etc can be Observers. Observers receive the same information as Members, unless such information is of concern only to civil society groups (which rarely happens). Observers are asked to contribute in the same way as members.

Please see the
> UK Consortium on AIDS & International Development website for further detail.
